Divine was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated magna cum laude in 2018 from Spelman College with a B.A. in Political Science. While at Spelman, Divine was a Gates Millennium Scholar, NBA Scholar, and Sidley Prelaw Scholar. Additionally, Divine served in the roles of President of the GMS campus-based organization, President of Phi Sigma Alpha, and Chief of Staff of the Spelman Morehouse Prelaw Society. Immediately after graduating from Spelman, Divine began her law school career at the University of Chicago where she received her Juris Doctor. Divine's passion for empowering marginalized students through mentorship and information led her to start her nonprofit "Being One Smart Sista." Currently, Divine works as a transactional attorney and advocates for quality educational resources for marginalized youth.
