Our attorneys have over two decades of combined legal experience with a focus on helping families through difficult transitions. We understand the serious impact domestic issues have on families and their children. As individual attorneys with our own private practices, we formed Denton, Smith and Cunningham, L.P. in 2007 to unite our efforts in providing families with an array of legal services that address their needs.
Our Mission
It is our mission to make the legal process as painless as possible while protecting our client’s interests to the fullest degree. We understand that cases involving family issues are often emotionally charged. The last thing a client needs is for the lawyers and ‘‘the system’’ to make their case more difficult.
Our Philosophy
We believe that clients should control their own destiny. Through the thoughtful use of all cumulative resources, which includes collaborative law and mediation, we guide clients to amicable and less costly solutions to their legal problems whenever possible. Because litigation by nature is stressful, we use it as a last resort. However, when needed, we strongly litigate to protect our client’s interests. We believe our clients deserve personalized attention and should be treated with respect and dignity. Through fair-minded and compassionate service, we strive to help them meet their legal objectives.

Our attorneys focus our practice in the areas of family law, divorce, collaborative law, mediation, bankruptcy and estate planning, including wills, trusts and estates.

Located in Colleyville, in Tarrant County, our law firm serves clients in our immediate area as well as from Southlake, Grapevine, Hurst Euless and Bedford, Texas. Our office is conveniently located off of Colleyville Blvd. on Hall Johnson Road.
